How it all began...
Holman Middle School began the formation of the VEX Robotics teams in the fall of 2012 in hopes of competing at the Technology Student Association's States and National Conference. An application was handed out to anyone interested in the program. The next meeting, they announced the qualified members that have been chosen to be apart of the teams. The following day, all the members had a meeting in making the decision in what the teams would be named. After about fifteen minutes of hard core brainstorming, we came up with the following: Alvin, Theodore, and Simon. Coincidentally, if you take the first letter of each name, they make up "TSA." Later in the year, a fourth team was created, by the name of "Dave."
Over the years, all teams have learned to cooperate with each other and became sort of one big family. However, this year, we decided to only stick with three teams, due to our budget. Holman VEX Robotics has been striving and plans to continue the tradition of excellence.
